Qualifications

1. Contestants for Mr. Freedom of Nebraska can be a Drag King, Transgendered, or Male.

2. Contestants for Miss. Freedom of Nebraska can be a Drag Queen, Transgendered, or Female.
3. All Contestants must be 21 years of age or older.
4. All Contestants must live in the State of Nebraska.

 

Rules and Regulations

 

Judging will be on a total points accumulated the night of the pageant. Score sheets will be provided by pageant director. Ties will be broken by a second round of on stage questioning to determine the winner. All disputes or recount must be submitted in writing to the Pageant Director within 30 day of announcing the winners.

 

Use of live animals, pyrotechnics, open flames, nudity, or drugs is strictly prohibited. Any of these can result in being disqualified. Over Consumption of alcohol may result in disqualification.

 

Current reigning titleholders are not allowed to compete for the title of Mr. or Miss Freedom of Nebraska. You must be without a current title at time of Pageant or have stepped down from your current title.

 

Contestants will understand that the Pageant will be held the Weekend before the 4th of July.

 

Only one person will be allowed to help you in the dressing room at a time, and music must be turned in no later than 4:00 pm. Either of these could result in disqualification.

 

Contestants must turn in applications two weeks prior to the Pageant. After that date you have one week to turn in the application or it will not be accepted. (Late fees will apply.)

 

Winners will be required to do a step up show, a step down show, next years pageant, and 2 benefit shows. You are expected to advocate and represent the Freedoms that we all live by as well as the State of Nebraska and the United States. It is requested you attend Heartland Pride in Omaha, Star City Pride in Lincoln, ICON Coronation, and Night of a 1000 Stars but not required. You will be required to be at the next years pageant.
